The Panthers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hinsdale South for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Glenbard North will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 32-12 non-league loss to Lyons (LaGrange, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Geneva moves to 0-3 on the season. The Vikings host St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. St. Francis won 47-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL)
