In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Mariposa County Grizzlies flag football squad scored a good 24-6 triumph over the Golden Valley Cougars.
The Grizzlies (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Central Valley (Ceres, CA). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Central Valley prevailed over Hughson (Hughson, CA), 14-0, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Hughson for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Golden Valley will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Central Valley (Ceres, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 4-2.
