California High School Flag Football - Homestead falls to Gunderson

The Gunderson Grizzlies felled the host Homestead Mustangs flag football team by a score of 26-18 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Grizzlies now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Teresa for a test on Tuesday, September 9. Gunderson will meet a Saints squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Willow Glen (San Jose, CA). The Saints record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Homestead drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Independence (San Jose, CA) to meet the 76ers in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The 76ers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Independence won 22-2 in their recent non-league test against MacDonald (San Jose, CA)
