Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting Mark Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA), 32-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Sylmar improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans host Valor Academy (Van Nuys, CA) to play the in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The go into the battle with a record of 0-2.
The Aztecs now have a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to La Serna for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Mark Keppel will play a Lancers team coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Downey (Downey, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-7.
