California High School Flag Football - Beckman defeats Sunny Hills

Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA) followers went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Sunny Hills Lancers (Fullerton, CA), 24-16 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Beckman advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Patriots host Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA) to play the Cougars in a battle on Wednesday, September 10. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 5-0.

The Lancers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to La Serna for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Sunny Hills will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Downey (Downey, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-1.
