California High School Flag Football - Lakewood tipped by Cypress

Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA) followers went home pleased Wednesday as they saw their flag football team nip the visiting Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA), 18-13 in a non-league match.

The Centurions (4-0) will now prepare for their match against El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Golden Hawks come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, El Dorado tipped University (Irvine, CA), 6-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Lancers confront the Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 8. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 6-0 league win over Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA).
