With the triumph, Marshfield advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Red Devils now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sutherlin for a 3A/2A/1A-SD4 Special District 4 bout on Tuesday, September 9.
