The King George Foxes football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets to 0 in the Foxes non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Foxes now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverbend for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. King George will play a Bears team coming off a 31-0 non-league win over Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA). The Bears record now stands at 2-1.

The Fighting Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Courtland toppled Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 14-9, in a non-league challenge.
