In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Countryside Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Boca Ciega Pirates.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Northeast beat Dunedin (Dunedin, FL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Pirates now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinellas Park for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Boca Ciega will face a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.
