With the win, Harnett Central improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Trojans host West Johnston (Benson, NC) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 7-1. West Johnston won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Triton (Erwin, NC)

The Colts now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Lumberton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Cape Fear will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 7-1.
