In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Frankford Pioneers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Tacony Academy Charter Lions.

The Pioneers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kensington (Philadelphia, PA). The KENSINGTON TIGER enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Kensington was beaten by Science Leadership Academy at Beeber (Philadelphia, PA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Mastery Charter Shoemaker Pumas (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Tacony Academy Charter will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
