Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) boosters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Brunswick (Brunswick, OH). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Brunswick was beaten by Hoover (North Canton, OH), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Polar Bears meet the Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
