North Carolina High School Volleyball - Union Pines over Jordan-Matthews

The Union Pines Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Lee for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Union Pines will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Jordan-Matthews drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Jets host East Davidson (Thomasville, NC) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. The Golden Eagles come into the outing with a record of 4-4. East Davidson lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC)
