California High School Volleyball - Union Mine over Oakmont

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Union Mine Diamondbacks volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Oakmont Vikings.

The Diamondbacks (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Hawks go into the test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Liberty Ranch achieved victory over Linden (Linden, CA), 2-1, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chico for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Oakmont will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
