In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host St. Helena Saints volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Piner Prospectors.
The Saints (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Credo (Rohnert Park, CA). The Gryphon enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.
Next, the Prospectors face the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) in a test, on Thursday, September 25. Piner will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
