In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Erwin Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Tuscola Mountaineers.
The Warriors (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Pisgah (Canton, NC). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Pisgah got by Murphy (Murphy, NC), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Mountaineers play the Tri-County Jaguars (Murphy, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 8. Tuscola will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
