Arvada West Wildcats (Arvada, CO) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad notch a victory over the host Pomona Panthers (Arvada, CO), 15-0 in a non-league match.

The Wildcats (9-0) will now prepare for their match against Columbine (Littleton, CO). The Rebels go into the 5A Jeffco match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Columbine gained a win over Golden (Golden, CO), 11-1, in a non-league match.

Next up, the Panthers play the Strasburg Indians (Strasburg, CO) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 5. Pomona will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 10-0 league loss to Eaton (Eaton, CO).
