With the triumph, Fannin County upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Rebels host Chattooga (Summerville, GA) to confront the Indians in a 1A D-I Region 7 match on Thursday, September 4. The Indians come into the match with a record of 4-4. Chattooga won 23-3 in their recent league match against Coosa (Rome, GA)

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 8. Darlington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 19-0 league loss to Armuchee (Rome, GA).
