The DeSoto Dragons (DeSoto, MO) softball the visiting Union Wildcats (Union, MO), 6-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Dragons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. DeSoto will meet a Lions squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Seckman (Imperial, MO). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Fatima (Westphalia, MO). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Fatima was routed by Southern Boone (Ashland, MO), 8-7, in a non-league test.
