The Grayson Rams triumphed over the visiting Peachtree Ridge Lions softball squad by a count of 19-11 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Rams now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a 6A Region 4 challenge on Monday, September 8. Grayson will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 19-4 league loss to Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-7.

The Lions (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Duluth (Duluth, GA). The Wildcats come into the 6A Region 7 battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Duluth was routed by North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA), 14-0, in a league battle.
