The Lee's Summit North Broncos softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Park Hill South Panthers to 5 in the Broncos non-league win on Wednesday.

The Broncos now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Springs for a Class 4 District 14 battle on Tuesday, September 9.

With the loss, Park Hill South drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Truman (Independence, MO) to meet the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Truman lost 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO)
