The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) and the host North Paulding Wolfpack (Dallas, GA), observed South Paulding's softball team get by North Paulding by a tally of 2-1.

The Spartans (4-8) will now prepare for their bout against Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region 5 bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Kennesaw Mountain was nipped by Campbell (Smyrna, GA), 15-0, in a non-league contest.

The Wolfpack now hold a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Cherokee for a 6A Region 5 contest on Thursday, September 4.
