Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Butler Bears (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Doss Dragons (Louisville, KY), observed Butler's volleyball team top Doss by a count of 2-0.

The Bears (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Iroquois (Louisville, KY). The Raiders enter the District 22 contest with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Iroquois dropped by Central (Louisville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Dragons now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Doss will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Portland Christian (Louisville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 3-5.
