The Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID) volleyball held off the visiting Century Diamondbacks (Pocatello, ID), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Home for a 5A Great Basin match on Monday, September 8. Minico will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Filer (Filer, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
The Diamondbacks (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Kimberly (Kimberly, ID). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Kimberly held off Minico (Rupert, ID), 3-0, in a non-league match.
