The Durant Cougars volleyball squad (Plant City, FL), dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL)

With the win, Wharton upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL) to encounter the Warriors in a 6A District 9 test on Thursday, September 4. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 4-3. Steinbrenner lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)

Next, the Cougars meet the Gaither Cowboys (Tampa, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Durant will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
