The Edison Tommies volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Johnson Governors to 1 in the Tommies non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tommies now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Minneapolis Southwest for a Minneapolis City outing on Monday, September 8.

With the loss, Johnson drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Governors travel to Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-2. Chisago Lakes Area won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Minneapolis North (Minneapolis, MN)
