In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting J.R. Tucker Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Highland Springs Springers.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Monacan (Richmond, VA). The Chiefs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Monacan was beaten by Powhatan (Powhatan, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Springers meet the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Highland Springs will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Royals go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Caroline (Milford, VA).
