The Falcons now have a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Smithville for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Royal will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-8.

The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Bellaire (Bellaire, TX). The Cardinals go into the 6A Region III District 18 game with a 5-12 record. In their last game, Bellaire was dropped by Clear Lake (Houston, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
