The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA) and the host Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), saw Newton North's soccer squad get by Braintree by a margin of 2-1.
The Tigers now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Framingham for a Bay State - Carey test on Thursday, October 21. Newton North will meet a Flyers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Walpole (Walpole, MA). The Flyers record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Braintree drops to 3-2 on the season.
