In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the St. James Saints.
The Mighty Hoppers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Lions go into the battle with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, St. Andrew's Episcopal was nipped by Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC), 2-0, in a league bout.
