Colorado High School Softball - Lamar nudges James Irwin

Lamar Savages (Lamar, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host James Irwin Jaguars (Colorado Springs, CO), 8-7 in a league challenge.

The Savages now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Rocky Ford for a 3A Tri Peaks challenge on Thursday, October 7.

With the loss, James Irwin falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars host The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 2. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 1-15. The Classical Academy lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Falcon (Falcon, CO)
