Utah High School Volleyball - Alta can't hold off Corner Canyon

September 30, 2021: Draper, UT 84020

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Corner Canyon Chargers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Alta Hawks.

The Chargers (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT). The Vikings come into the 6A Region 4 battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Pleasant Grove was edged by Lone Peak (Highland, UT), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT) in a 5A Region 8 battle, on Tuesday, October 5. Alta will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a 14-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Mountain View (Orem, UT).
