Colorado High School Football - La Junta felled by Alamosa

The La Junta Tigers football team (La Junta, CO), was knocked off 28-20 in Friday's league challenge with the host Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO)

The Mean Moose (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamar (Lamar, CO). The Thunder come into the 2A League 7 challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Lamar was knocked off by Florence (Florence, CO), 36-0, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland Park for a 2A League 7 challenge on Friday, October 7. La Junta will meet a Panthers team coming off a 35-0 league win over Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
