The North Cedar Knights football team (Stanwood, IA), was ripped 44-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA)
The Pirates (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Indians come into the A District 5 challenge with a 2-3 record.
The Knights now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Columbus for a A District 5 challenge on Friday, October 7. North Cedar will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 71-14 non-league win over North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-0.
