New York High School Football - Amsterdam beat Columbia

The Amsterdam Rams football squad scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Columbia Blue Devils to 42 in the Rams league victory on Friday.

The Rams now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 8. Amsterdam will play a Spartans squad coming off a 45-14 league win over Albany (Albany, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Albany Falcons (Albany, NY) in a Section 2 A - Grasso battle, on Thursday, October 6. Columbia will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 45-14 league loss to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY).
