Arizona High School Football - Apache Junction can't get by Coconino

September 30, 2022: Apache Junction, AZ 85120

Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nip the host Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), 28-21 in a non-league game.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ). The Crusaders come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Northwest Christian got by Canyon View (Waddell, AZ), 36-31, in a non-league game.

The Prospectors now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee Williams for a non-league game on Friday, October 7. Apache Junction will battle a Volunteers team coming off a 49-6 non-league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Volunteers record now stands at 3-1.
