In Friday's non-league game, the Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) football team smashed the host Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA), by a score of 54-7.
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA). The Spartans come into the 8-Man District 10 (8 Man) game with a 2-3 record.
The Rockets now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's for a 8-Man District 1 (8 Man) game on Friday, October 7. Ar-We-Va will meet a Hawks team coming off a 61-13 league win over Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 6-0.
