In Friday's league game, the Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) football team were victorious over the host Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Storm (Niantic, IL), by a score of 28-12.

The Purple Riders (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL). The Knights come into the Lincoln Prairie game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond knocked off Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL), 63-8, in a league game.
