The Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS) football routed the visiting Rolla Pirates (Rolla, KS), 55-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Jays clash with the Moscow Wildcats (Moscow, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 7. Ashland will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, KS).
