New Mexico High School Football - Taos prevails Aztec

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), observed Taos's football squad defeat Aztec by a count of 29-14.

The Tigers now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grants for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 8. Taos will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 1-5.

Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) in a 4A District 1 contest, on Friday, October 14. Aztec will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
