In Friday's league game, the Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA) football team were victorious over the visiting Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA), by a score of 28-14.
The Red Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their game against New Bedford (New Bedford, MA). The Whalers come into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, New Bedford was knocked off by Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA), 27-0, in a non-league game.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bridgewater-Raynham for a Southeast game on Saturday, October 8. Durfee will meet a Trojans team coming off a 31-13 non-league loss to Marshfield (Marshfield, MA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-3.
