The Boys Town Cowboys (Boys Town, NE) football routed the host Concordia Mustangs (Omaha, NE), 49-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) in a C1 District 1 bout, on Friday, October 7. Boys Town will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bluejays enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 40-10 league win over Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE).
The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Platteview (Springfield, NE). The Trojans enter the C1 District 1 bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Platteview was crushed by Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE), 31-21, in a league bout.
