In Friday's league game, the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) football team knocked off the host Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA), by a final score of 49-20.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA). The Green Devils come into the 4A District 6 game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Plaquemine toppled St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA), 48-16, in a league game.

The Buccaneers now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belaire for a 4A District 6 game on Friday, October 7. Broadmoor will battle a Bengals team coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Walker (Walker, LA). The Bengals record now stands at 0-6.
