Nebraska High School Football - Twin Loup defeats Burwell

In Friday's league match, the host Twin Loup Wolves football squad scored a good 38-14 victory over the Burwell Longhorns.

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Elm Creek Buffaloes (Elm Creek, NE) in a D2 District 7 (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 7. Twin Loup will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Buffaloes enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 50-14 league win over Overton (Overton, NE).

The Longhorns (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Cougars enter the D2 District 7 (8 Man) match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Central Valley ran past Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE), 50-12, in a league match.
