In Friday's non-league game, the Cecilia Bulldogs (Cecilia, LA) football team tipped the host Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA), by a final score of 25-24.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Breaux Bridge (Breaux Bridge, LA). The Tigers come into the 4A District 5 game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Breaux Bridge was tipped by Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA), 38-0, in a non-league game.
The Pioneers now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Arthur for a 2A District 5 game on Friday, October 7. Notre Dame will battle a Tigers team coming off a 67-38 non-league win over Pickering (Leesville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
