The Central Plains Oilers football team (Claflin, KS), was tipped 12-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs (Sylvan Grove, KS)

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson (Wilson, KS). The Dragons come into the Northern Plains (8 Man) challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Wilson was tipped by Victoria (Victoria, KS), 52-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Oilers now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Otis-Bison for a Central Prairie (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 7. Central Plains will meet a Cougars team coming off a 54-6 non-league loss to Dighton (Dighton, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 0-5.
