Indiana High School Football - Chesterton sneaks past Lake Central

September 30, 2022: St. John, IN 46373

The Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) football edged the host Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN), 14-13 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) in a Duneland bout, on Friday, October 7. Chesterton will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 7-0 record after their 51-10 league win over La Porte (La Porte, IN).

The Indians (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Merrillville (Merrillville, IN). The Pirates enter the Duneland bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Merrillville nudged Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN), 37-10, in a league bout.
