Arizona High School Football - Desert Edge prevails Cienega

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) and the visiting Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ), observed Desert Edge's football squad defeat Cienega by a count of 52-21.

The Scorpions now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Saguaro for a non-league contest on Friday, October 7. Desert Edge will encounter a Sabercats squad coming off a 26-17 non-league loss to Liberty (Peoria, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Bobcats encounter the Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 7. Cienega will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 59-58 non-league loss to Westwood (Mesa, AZ).
