The Southeast of Saline Trojans thwarted the visiting Clay Center Tigers football team by a count of 26-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Southeast of Saline upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Trojans host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league outing on Friday, October 7. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Hillsboro lost 55-21 in their recent non-league outing against Halstead (Halstead, KS)

With the loss, Clay Center moves to 3-2 on the season. The Tigers host Concordia (Concordia, KS) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league outing on Friday, October 7. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Concordia won 38-12 in their recent non-league outing against Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS)
