The D'Arbonne Woods football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting River Oaks Mustangs to 25 in the non-league victory on Friday.

The now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeside for a 2A District 1 battle on Friday, October 7. D'Arbonne Woods will play a Warriors squad coming off a 34-28 non-league win over Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) in a 1A District 2 battle, on Thursday, October 6. River Oaks will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 56-0 league win over Tensas (St. Joseph, LA).
